Finster deepens PitchBook partnership with Premium Connector integration

Finster brings trusted private capital-market intelligence directly into financial workflows, accelerating the path from research to decision-ready output.

Seattle and London – August 18th, 2026 - Finster AI has expanded its partnership with PitchBook, the leading private capital market intelligence platform. Through PitchBook’s Premium Connector, eligible PitchBook clients will be able to access a broader range of PitchBook intelligence directly within Finster’s AI-native platform.

The expanded integration builds on the partnership announced in 2025, which brought an initial subset of PitchBook company and deal data into Finster. The next phase gives users richer private-market context within the same secure, traceable workflows they already use to research companies, analyse opportunities and produce high-quality financial outputs.

From trusted data to decision-ready work

Private-market analysis often requires teams to move between data platforms, internal documents, spreadsheets and presentation tools. Valuable time is spent locating information, reconciling sources and transferring data before the real analytical work can begin.

By bringing PitchBook’s private capital market intelligence into Finster, the expanded partnership connects trusted data with AI agents designed specifically for financial workflows. Users can interrogate information in natural language, combine it with other relevant sources and carry the analysis forward into deliverables - all while maintaining clear links back to the underlying data source.

Finster users with seat-based, unlimited, or trial PitchBook licenses will be able to draw on intelligence covering companies, deals, investors, funds, key people, financials, valuations and market research. This can support workflows including:

  • Pulling deep detail on named companies, investors, funds and deals, including financials, valuations, cap tables and deal terms

  • Researching private companies, ownership structures and financing histories

  • Comparing transactions, valuations and relevant market benchmarks

  • Mapping the investors, co-investors, deal participants and limited partners connected to a named company or fund

  • Enriching company profiles, investment memos, committee materials and client presentations

  • Combining PitchBook intelligence with filings, transcripts, internal knowledge and other permissioned sources

Finster’s citation architecture makes the provenance of information visible at the point of use. This gives teams a faster route from source data to insight without sacrificing the transparency and control required in high-stakes financial work.

A stronger foundation for private-market workflows

The Premium Connector reflects a shared view between Finster and PitchBook: the value of AI in finance depends on the quality, context and reliability of the information beneath it.

“Our initial integration with PitchBook demonstrated how valuable trusted private-market data becomes when it is embedded directly into the way financial professionals work. Expanding to the Premium Connector gives our clients greater depth while preserving the transparency, precision and control they expect from Finster.” - Sid Jayakumar, Founder & CEO, Finster AI

This expanded partnership is another step in Finster’s commitment to building an open, enterprise-grade AI platform for finance - one that brings together best-in-class external data, firms’ proprietary knowledge and advanced AI models in a governed environment.

The PitchBook Premium Connector access within Finster is available to PitchBook clients with single sign-on (SSO) access, subject to applicable PitchBook licensing and entitlements. To learn more, contact the Finster team or request a demo.
