One thing we hear often from both clients and prospects is that bringing in all of the data they need is a challenge they underestimated when they first rolled out AI at their firm. When FactSet partnered with Finster AI, one of the core priorities was ensuring that FactSet AI for Banking users could get all the data they need, when they needed it.
This partnership enables FactSet AI for Banking to offer users a level of integration into their daily work that simply isn't possible anywhere else.
Here are five integrations that are only available to FactSet AI for Banking users:
FactSet Signals API
Working 24/7, the Signals API tracks market events like share price movements, ratings changes, deterioration of liquidity, filings, M&A announcements, and dozens more. These signals can act as a catalyst to engage a prospect or customer, identify a new deal opportunity or risk to an existing deal, or trigger a series of workflows and accompanying artifacts. As a FactSet AI for Banking user, the moment something relevant happens, FactSet puts together sourced analysis and sends it straight to the banker's inbox – and can trigger fully executed, multi-step workflows from the same signal.
This moves AI from being reactive to being proactive or from prompted to unprompted. The analysis you need is ready, before you even know you need it.
Native Formulae (FDS codes)
Every financial model runs on constantly changing data and keeping it current means manually re-entering numbers or fixing broken links. FactSet AI for Banking plugs the gap with an FDS code, a formula that sits inside the Excel cell itself and pulls FactSet’s data straight into the model in real time. When the underlying data updates, the model updates with it, without anyone having to re-enter a single number.
Because it is integrated directly into Excel, the agent can perform advanced, on-the-fly calculations (such as Implied ARR or the Rule of 40) using these live codes, while providing a "dotted underline" that, when clicked, shows exactly how the AI did the math. Furthermore, the AI can "read" the live FDS-powered model to actively spot errors, summarize the key drivers of returns, and automatically generate key takeaways for review.
This means bankers can spend their time focussing on revenue-driving client work, rather than constantly checking and updating numbers.
PresLink
Every time a number changes in a model, someone has to go back into the deck to update it, re-pasting in a chart or checking it against the previous week’s version to make sure nothing has slipped out of sync. Doing that for every live deal adds up to hours lost every week. PresLink removes that step entirely: Live Excel data feeds directly into PowerPoint, so when a figure changes in the model, the deck updates with it automatically.
By keeping Excel and PowerPoint in sync, PresLink completely removes the need to manually re-paste charts, double-check new numbers against previous week’s versions, or worry about version-control errors where a slide accidentally shows outdated numbers.
PresLink can also be paired with our AI, allowing bankers to “chat” to their PowerPoint and command sweeping updates (e.g., "update this slide for the US Sportswear market") or generate entirely new slides from scratch based on their research. The AI maps the new content directly to the bank's own templates and ensures the formatting is perfectly clean and aligned after the live data flows in. Following that, the deck’s data will continue to update automatically with the newest excel data.
LogoIntern
Every pitchbook needs logos but getting them into a deck at the right size, resolution and alignment is still one of the most tedious tasks in the production process.
LogoIntern – which has access to more than 1.8 million public and private company logos – does this instantly. Integrated into the platform's APIs, the AI can locate and insert logos while carrying out its analytical work. So, when an analyst prompts FactSet AI for Banking to build a strategic competitor landscape, the AI agent doesn't just write the text; it accesses the LogoIntern API to automatically retrieve and perfectly format the corresponding logos onto the slide.
For existing decks, a banker building a market map or comp slide can request a logo via the plug-in and have it drop in the logo, correctly sized, without touching a search engine or image edits.
FactSet Aftermarket Research
Our integration with FactSet’s AMR from over 1,800 brokerages allows you to pull from reports inside the same interface as your models and decks.
Bankers can ask FactSet AI for Banking to search, cross reference research brokers’ views on a company all at once and immediately integrate that information into a model or pitchbook slide. It has a single system of record showing what data was used, with granular citations linking back to the original AMR source with the exact cell or sentence a fact or figure comes from.
Now you can combine public and private financial data with broker research, news, your proprietary content and AI search in one place.
